A financial services firm based in Lekki, Lagos has vacancies as detailed below;


*Accounts and Finance Executive*

(Male or Female)

*Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities* • Prepare and process payments as approved by the BM or MD

• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue into respective financial ledgers

• Support with the preparation of financial statements and reports

• Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers

• Maintain and record fixed assets

• Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary

• Prepare Monthly Performance Report to related to Accounts and Finance Department

• Maintains all registers (Expenses Register, Asset Register, Vault Register etc.)

• Maintain the petty cash vault and process petty cash/ expenses

• Lodge all payment instruments at the bank.

• Preparation of daily cash position of the company.

• Handle any other duties as assigned by supervisor.


• Knowledge and understanding of Financial Services industry and its operations

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)/ International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

• Knowledge of Nigerian Accounting Standards

• Knowledge of Nigerian Tax Laws and Practices

• Knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations

• Bank Reconciliation

• Financial Statement Analysis

• Account Reconciliation

*Education Qualification*• First degree or its equivalent in any numerate discipline, preferably in Finance or Accounting

*Professional Membership & Qualification* • Student membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, UK (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), or any other recognized professional accounting body is desired

*Experience* • 0 – 6 years’ experience Benefit: Free Health Care (HMO) in any hospital close to your house.
