Role: Assistant E&S Manager

Location: Ibeju Lekki

Starting: Immediately

Salary: Negotiable

Qualification: Degree with a focus in Environmental Sciences or Engineering

Environmental certifications. NEBOSH & ISO 14001 certification will be an added advantage

Experience: Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in sustainability or environment, with 2 years performing ESG reporting and/or advisory work. Adequate knowledge of assessment methodologies, procedures and best practices that relate to sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Collate ESG data for reporting to LFZ stakeholders both internally and externally

• Identify priorities for sustainability policy advocacy and train staff as required

• Maintain a legal register of ESG/Sustainability and ensure compliance

• Implement LFZ ESMP and ensure requirements of all plans and procedures are fulfilled

• Track and document all LFZ ESG-related activities

• Participate in social engagements and CSR activities

• Create and convene forums with internal and external stakeholders for the identification of sustainability issues, concerns and the quality and extent of sustainability reporting.

• Prepare Presentations/talking points for the Senior Management to be presented at the board level or in national/international forums.

• Identify, assess, track and mitigation of Risks associated with Sustainability (climate change and others).
