We are looking to hire a qualified business manager for our client, a luxury fashion brand in Victoria Island, Lagos.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting Line: CEO

• SCOPE OF MANAGEMENT;

• Sales and Customer service

• Production

• Employee welfare

• Day-to-day business operations

• Partnership management

 

• Sales Strategies

• Create and implement strategies to exceed sales target for the business

• Seek out new markets and fashion interests that the business may benefit from

• Organize product and lifestyle shoots in collaboration with the digital marketing teams to drive product visibility and sales

 

• Production

• Overseeing the management of the production process from a high-level perspective

• Inventory management

• Factory maintenance

 

• Employee Welfare

• Weekly & Monthly employee Payroll

• Conduct weekly team meetings

• Conduct quarterly performance reviews for employees

• Leave administration

• Attendance tracking

• Bonus and reprimand policy implementation

• Employee training

• Day to day Operations

• Manage departmental requisition

• Daily & weekly sales reporting to management

• Production reporting to management

• Expense management

• Facility supervision

 

• Partnership Management

• Manage contractual relations with all partners

• Ensure execution of contractual obligations

• Provide support to drive business interests through partnerships

• Develop strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth

 

Business Manager responsibilities include:

• Develop goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity

• Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals

• Ensure that the company has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, material, equipment etc.)

• Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity

• Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers

• Gather, analyze and interpret external and internal data and write reports

• Assess overall company performance against objectives

• Represent the company in events, conferences etc.

• Ensure adherence to legal rules and guidelines
