We are searching for an assertive, proactive and detail oriented individual for the role of Facilities Maintenance Coordinator in our Administrative and General Services Department to coordinate the maintenance of buildings, building services installations, housekeeping and grounds keeping in line with best business practices.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:

 Develops building maintenance Plan and schedule building maintenance activities. Building maintenance plan should be updated weekly.
 Supervises and coordinate the work of Building Services Technicians/Contractors to ensure proper care of Air Conditioners, Furniture, Plumbing and Lighting Systems.
 Coordinates housekeeping and grounds keeping activities to ensure the environment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
 Defines scope of work, provide drawings and prepare cost estimates for building maintenance work.
 Supervises and check that agreed work by building services technicians and contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow-up on any deficiencies.
 Responds appropriately to emergencies or urgent facilities maintenance issues as they arise.
 Prepares maintenance report for various facilities and office locations; Prepare weekly report on facilities maintenance.
 Educates team members on proper use and care of company’s building services installations.
 Carries out facility audits on buildings and report on observations and defects on buildings.
 Plans best allocation/utilization of space for both current and future office buildings in all locations.
 Manage departments ISO documentation process and Compliance.
Competencies and Qualifications:
• 3 years post NYSC relevant experience in supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity survey, Architecture or Estate Management.
• Experience with ERP software is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
• Relevant professional qualification.
• Ability to disseminate information.
• Knowledge in Building Services Installations, National Building codes and Maintenance Planning.
