Head, Warehouse, Procurement & Logistics Manager (FMCG)
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and customer services
• Maintain proper warehouse record keeping and initiate to dispatch from the warehouse as per the approved Distribution Plan
• Ensure the Quality of the Goods / Distribution are done as per the required standards and are fully documented
• Maintain a proper filling of all documents for future audit and record keeping
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly procurement status reports for all purchases
• Liaise and negotiate with transport companies and suppliers for the best terms of service including price, delivery, payments and after-sales service.
• Preparing the checklist for procurement with complete documents and submitting to the finance department for payments.
• Maintaining statistical and financial records of the department.
• Use approved information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle
• Ensuring all processes of supplies comply with the company’s code of conduct, the purchasing policy, and other related policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse and logistics management.
• Bsc in any Management course
• Ability to handle multiple projects and also work independently
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, self-management, and organizational skills
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to effectively instruct employees, and also effectively file reports to the upper management of the organization
• Confident and good decision-making ability with attention to detail.
• 3 years’ experience in any manufacturing environment
