HR Officer needed in a firm in Ikoyi
1. Design compensation and benefits packages
2. Analyze trends in compensation and benefits
3. Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
4. Implement performance review procedures (e.g quarterly/annual and 360° evaluations)
5. Develop fair HR policies and ensure employees understand and comply with them and are applied consistently
6. Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
7. Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
8. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
9. Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
10. Measure employee retention and turnover rates
11. Design and implement employee retention strategies
12. Design and Monitor HR department’s budget
13. Act as the point of contact regarding labour legislation issues
14. Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
15. Manage employees’ grievances
16. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
17. Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
18. Review current HR technology and recommend more effective software
19. Maintain HR systems and processes
20. Conduct performance and salary reviews
21. Oversee daily operations of the HR Department
1. A first degree in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management or any Social Science field
2. 4 years experience in similar position
3. CIPM, CIPD,HRCI, SHRM is an added advantage
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrate skill in database management and record keeping
6. Organized and efficient in daily task
7. Candidate who resides in Ibadan should apply
