Position: Human Resources Manager
Industry: Retail/House-Hold
Location: Victoria Island

The successful candidate will be measured by the ability to:
•Work with leaders to provide coaching and guidance on creating high-performance teams and employment-related matters.
•In conjunction with leaders, identify knowledge gaps and determine the training and development needed to fill the gaps identified.
•Manage the recruitment and selection process. Work with the HR team and leaders to identify resource requirements and develop recruitment strategies accordingly. Prepare interview materials, send behavioral assessments and facilitate the selection process.
•Responsible for coordinating and conducting the onboarding process for new employees.
•Develop and deliver internal training programs regarding soft skills, leadership development, etc.
•Develop and implement strategies and initiatives that contribute to overall organizational success and high-performance team development including performance management, succession planning, performance development planning, and mentorship programs. Work with leaders to ensure these processes meet the needs of the business and are completed in a timely fashion.
•Analyse trends in compensation and conducts research to determine the Company’s competitiveness when compared to the market. Makes recommendations as required.
•Investigate incidents as they arise and report findings and recommendations to the company.

Your strengths include:

•8+ years in Human Resources
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
•Associate, CIPM designation or its equivalent is considered an asset
•Outstanding communication skills are required, both written and verbal
•Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word are required; advanced Excel will be considered an asset
•Experience in the Retail industry is required
