JOB SUMMARY
The role holder should be able to effectively manage and coordinate the procurement of goods and services in accordance with the company’s set procurement guidelines and procedure as well as supervises the movement, distribution, and conditions of all company logistics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A typical day on the job will involve.

• Sourcing and procurement of goods or services in accordance with the company’s procurement practices and laid down procedures and guidelines.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
• Ensure materials and services supplied meet established company’s standards, survey market for latest trends in prices, availability, delivery, and quality and ensure that applicable policies, practices, and procedures are understood and complied by suppliers.
• Assess all vendors/suppliers and ensure that they meet the minimum requirements to be on the suppliers list.
• Monitor and report on supplier performance, noting current and/or potential issues, inefficiencies and assist with contract/purchase order modifications/
• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track all company’s logistics
• Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of services affecting procurement and supply.
• Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement.
• Supervise all repairs of all logistics.
• Respond to any issues or complaints.
• Sourcing and engaging logistics repairs partners.
• Ensure all operations adhere to all road laws & guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or any related field with at least a second class upper (2.1) from a reputable institution.
• Great negotiations and networking skills.
• 1-2 years work experience only.
• Aptitude in decision making and working with numbers.
• Creative individual who is energetic, forward- thinking with high ethical standards and appropriate professional image.
• Highly organized and detail – oriented.
• Excellent analytical and problem -solving skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
