*Sales Executive – Parts Sales Executive, Automotive (Technical Sales)*
*Duties and Responsibilities*
*Achieving High Standards*
Generate Sales through selling Automotive Parts.
Develops and presents both existing and new Automotive Brands plus incentives programs to customers (i.e., Products presentations, flyers, answers questions, etc.).
Maintains high ethical standards in daily activities.
Regularly search for new customers and visits current customers to maintain relationships and thank them for their business while also ensuring there are no complaints.
Helps develop special promotions specific to dealership and corporate customers.
Reviews daily previous customer visit reports and activities.
Communicates with other team members, Head of Department and Sales Director to inform them of how the current customer and prospective customer visit unfolded.

Builds productive working relationships both within and across departments through clear communications using different forms (e.g., departmental meeting, daily information meetings, with various teams, etc.)
Has an approachable style; fosters open communication through active listening; maintains an open door policy.

Resolves all wholesale/retail customers concerns in a prompt and effective manner.

Solicits, encourages, and implements innovative methods/ideas to improve service and performance.
Makes cold calls to Corporate, Wholesale and retail customers to sell Automotive parts department.
Strives to resolve various customer challenges.
Handles customers’ repeated requests/orders for more; it is not: “what did you do for me last week?” but “what are you going to do for me this week?”
*Managing Business Complexity*
Reviews sales history/trend of current customers to look for noticeable changes.
Establishes processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction leading to efficient and effective operations.
Reviews sales reports and surveys to monitor amount of business and stay on top of return percentages; based on review visit customers to see the reason for the decline in business or increase in returns.
Talks to Head of Department about customer problems.
*Applying the Basics*
Uses computers, phones, and social networks to monitor daily operations, download new OEM catalogs monthly, and review customer credit applications and outstanding payments.
Applies information found in manuals, publications, and other documents.
Calls on prospective customers
Utilizes new systems or processes implemented by OEM or the dealership.
Maintains proficiency in the use of in-house computer systems, phones etc.
Completes sales reports.
Understanding and Using Business Knowledge
Applies wholesale/retailing techniques to sell Automotive parts and accessories.
Keeps up to date on industry-specific information.
Develops business strategies to ensure a strategic marketing advantage.
Participates in internal meetings.
Requirements, Qualifications, Experience, and skills required
Minimum of BSc or HND in any field
Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage
Experience in selling Automotive Parts Sales, Heavy Duty trucks is important.
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
At least 2-5 years of work experience
Age- 25 – 35years
Male
Valid driver’s license
